Monday September 29
9th Grade- In class: Vocab # 2 Test today! Start Vocab #3 Defs and WS. Homework- Finish working on exercises 11 & 13 in text. Continue working on Vocab #3 Due Monday 10/6.
10th Grade- In class: Vocab #2 Test Today! Start Vocab #3 Defs and WS. Homework- Continue workin on Vocab #3 Due Monday 10/6.
12th Grade- In class: Discuss "The Battle with Grendel" Quiz 2 on Beowulf . Hand out Vocab #3 WS. Finish reading "The Monster's Lair" and "The Battle with Grendel's Mother." Homework- Finish any work you did not get done in class. Work on Vocab #3 WS and Definitions Due Monday 10/6.
PSSA English- In class: Work on Lessons 5, 6, and 7 of Chapter 1.

Tuesday September 30
9th Grade- In class: Finish 4-sight tests. Go over Ex. 11 & 13 on verbs. Give out 2 verb worksheets and do in class. Homework- Finish verb worksheets in class. Continue working on Vocab #3 WS and Defs due Monday 10/6.

We will go over the correct answers. WE will then start working on PRONOUNS pg. 345-349 in the text. Homework- Study for vocab test on Friday.

10th Grade- In class: Vocabulary definitions and worksheet are due today. We will discuss the words and get ready for the test on FRIDAY!! Nouns and Pronouns worksheets are due today. We will go over the correct answers. We will then start working on Adjectives pg. 337-341. Homework- Study for vocab test on Friday.

12th Grade- In class: Vocabulary defintions and worksheet are due today. We will discuss the words and get ready for the test on Friday!! We will then continue reading and discussing "The Seafarer" pg. 17-20. Studetns will answer questions on pg. 20.
Homework- Finish questions on pg. 20 and Study for Vocab test on Friday!
PSSA English- In class: Today we will review PSSA Vocabulary. Test in on THURSDAY OR FRIDAY (depending on your class).

10th Grade- In calss: Today we will work on Adjectives pg. 337-341. We will work on exercises in class. Homework- finish exercises you did not finish in class and complete worksheet on adjectives. Study for Vocab test on Friday.

12th Grade- In class: Today we will read and discuss "The Wanderer" pg. 21-24 in class. Homework- Sudy for vocab test on Friday.

PSSA English- In class: Today we will review PSSA vocabulary. Test is on THURSDAY or FRIDAY (depending on your class).

Wednesdasy September 10

9th Grade- In class: Discuss pronoun homework and work on pronoun worksheet in class. Homework- finish worksheet from class and study for vocab test on Friday.

10th Grade- In class: Go over homework on adjectives and start workin on Verbs pg. 341-345. We will work on exercises in class. Homework-finish exercises from class and complete worksheet on verbs. Studay for vocab test on Friday.

12th Grade- In class: Read and discuss "The Wanderer" pg. 21-24 and answer questions on page 24. Finish questions from class and study for vocab test on Friday.

PSSA English- In class: Today we will start working on Chapter 1 of the textbook, reading strategies and skills.

Thursday September 11

9th Grade- In calss: Go over pronoun worksheet. Discuss adjectives pg. 349-354. Work on exercises in book. Homework- Finish exercises from class and study for vocab test TOMORROW!!

10th Grade- In class: Go ovver worksheet and exercises and continue with verbs, adjectives, nouns and pronouns. Homework- Study for vocab test TOMORROW!!!

12th Grade- In class: Read and discuss "The Wife's Lament" pg. 25-26 and answer questions on pg. 26. Hand out study guide scheduled for test on 9/16/08. Homework- finish questions from "The Wife's Lament" and study for vocab test TOMORROW!!!
